What are you thankful for these days? Have you been considering these things this week?? This is the one week of the year we really should stop and make that list, especially if we haven’t been doing it on a regular or even daily basis.

As I’ve gotten older (I’m currently 48 years old), I have actually become more and more thankful as time moves on. As I’ve matured, I seem to take into account more and more of the details of life happening all around me. What I mean by that is, as I run my race, travel my journey and plow through life, I seem to be more attentive to the details of my surroundings, mainly the lives or livelihood of other people. I don’t mean this in a nosey way, but more from the perspective of empathy. Working in the medical field for the last 30 years, serving in ministry as a Pastor for the last 16, and having nearly daily encounters with so many people that are suffering from illness has been a humbling experience to say the least. I have learned from this experience that in every circumstance you find yourself in, there is always someone who is worse off than you. I have found that in this finding alone, we all have a reason to be thankful.

I have had my share of health problems, but my battle with Covid-19 a year ago in September of 2020 was definitely the worse off I’ve ever been. As we’ve entered into Thanksgiving week now in 2021, I cannot help but reflect on where I was last year at this time. I was at home reconditioning and trying my best to get my stamina back. I was fighting hard to get off of the supplemental oxygen. I was still so weak, but I was definitely getting stronger. I must say though; I was so very thankful.

Throughout my life the Lord has given me so many chances to get it right. He has allowed me so many redo’s after I had made a big mess of things. When His grace called my name and when His grace found me, everything changed. For this, I am so very grateful. Those second chances, those redo’s, gave me wisdom from the lessons learned, and they gave me an opportunity to do better. After nearly dying from Covid-19 multiple times during my 40 day battle, I praise you Lord, and I give thanks to you Lord for another chance and another redo.

Happy Thanksgiving You All.

God Bless,

Pastor Stephen

COVID-19 One Family's Journey - Released!

Update on the New Book Release!

On Monday, November 8th, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a package in the mail, that contained 10 complimentary books from my publisher, Christian Faith Publishing. I was actually able to hold in my hand a very nice copy of my first book ever authored. They looked so good, and I was so very blessed! I read through one of them, and sent in my approval to push forward with processing with the vendors. I was informed that they would be available for purchase at all of the major outlets within one to two weeks.

Today I was exploring Amazon's website, and I searched for the New Book Release and there it was! What a wonderful milestone! It was so nice to see it finally make it to the store. I'm assuming they will be bulking up the inventory this coming week, and the ability to buy the book at other vendors will be available too. If you are looking to order a copy, please click the link below. When you are finished reading it, please take a moment to post a review on Amazon, and share your feedback with me. This would mean a lot.

God Speed To You All! The Lord is Faithful!!
